On 24 January, the submission for a limited project submission call in Scholarships activity organised by the State Education Development Agency (VIAA) for project promoters approved in 1st and 2nd call of the European Economic area and Norway Grants (EEA/NO) programme Research and Education begins. Mobilities can be implemented within the activity, as well as cooperation in higher education between Latvia and Norway, Liechtenstein and Island can be promoted.


The call creates an opportunity for project promoters to complement projects with different activities. It is possible to receive additional points if the application prioritises activities involving Ukrainian civilians, students and university personnel, as well as who leave Ukraine or cannot return to Ukraine due to the war caused by the Russian Federation. However, this does not change the fact that it is possible to apply for activities involving students and staff of Latvia or other countries.


The submissions can be sent in until 21 February.
