Launching event of the Scholarships activity 🗓

On 24 February 2021, the State Education Development Agency (VIAA) in cooperation with the Latvian Ministry of Education and Science (MoES) organizes online launching event of the European Economic Area and Norwegian grant (EEA/N) scholarship activity . Representatives of higher education institutions are invited to participate in the event to find out about the mobility opportunities for students, academic and administrative staff.

The online event will be attended by Margunn Instefjord, Senior Consultant at the Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Improvement in Higher Education, Dmitrijs Stepanovs, Deputy State Secretary of the MoES, as well as Dita Traidās, Director of VIAA and other VIAA representatives. At the event, participants will be informed about the scholarships activity call, its current issues, challenges and priorities, preparation of project applications and submission procedure.Representatives of VIAA will talk about the preparation and project applications and the submission procedure.

Cooperation partners, project managers, consultants and other representatives from universities of Latvia, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein are invited to participate in the event. The opening event will take place on the online platform Zoom from 10:00 to 12:00. Registration for the online event will be open until February 22, 2021. Registered participants will receive an event access link via email. We invite to send any questions to the address: eezstipendijas@viaa.gov.lv. The event will be held in both English and Latvian.
