This year marks the conclusion of the aforementioned EEA grant program, which aimed to strengthen Latvia’s capacity to prevent and combat economic crime. Additionally, the program sought to enhance cooperation among various institutions to ensure that children who have been victims of violence or have witnessed such acts are treated in a child-friendly manner in Latvia (implementing the “Barnahus” or “Children’s House” model).
