Work continues on a unified criminal intelligence data exchange system for the State Revenue Service and the State Police

To strengthen cooperation between law enforcement agencies in the prevention and combatting of economic crimes, the State Revenue Service (SRS) in collaboration with the State Police is developing a unified criminal intelligence data exchange system. This unified data exchange system will include data analytics tools and a digital support system that will be connected to the State Police database. Information analysts and special task experts will be trained to work with the system.

Currently, training is underway for analytics experts and operational officers to work with the analytical tool Analyst’s Notebook, which will facilitate work in the criminal intelligence support system. With this tool, it will be possible to analyze information available from various sources and in the possession of law enforcement agencies, studying mutual connections and dependencies.

According to the project implementation schedule, testing of the entity risk analysis system is ongoing, as well as the addition of new data sources for information analysis and visualization.

This is one of two projects implemented by the SRS co-funded by the EEA Grants 2014-2021 programme “International police cooperation and combating crime”.
