Thanks to the EEA Grants, Forensic laboratory staff of the State Forensic Science Bureau receive training in the Netherlands

As part of EEA Grants project No. EEZ/TM/2022/7 “Strengthening of the capacity of forensic system and inspection of the site of the event” experts from the Forensic Laboratory of the State Forensic Science Bureau participated in training from September 10th to September 16th, 2023.

The training took place in Nieuw-Vennep, Netherlands, and was organized by Loci Forensics B.V., a private company specializing in bloodstain pattern analysis training.

The training involved a 5-day (40-hour) Basic Bloodstain Pattern Analysis Course, with approximately half of each day dedicated to theoretical training and the other half to practical experiments on the formation of various types of bloodstains.

The primary objectives of participation were to enhance the qualifications of experts from the State Forensic Science Bureau in bloodstain-related work, to acquire the necessary knowledge for improving laboratory methods, and to establish connections within the international community of bloodstain pattern specialists.

Working together for a secure and competitive Europe!
