Daugavpils Innovation Centre will be opened on December 10

After major changes, already on December 10, at 12:00, Daugavpils Innovation Center will open its doors to visitors. On the opening day, visitors of the center will be treated to educational and creative workshops throughout the day, while at Science shows will be held at 13:00 and 15:00. 

Daugavpils Innovation Center is an educational institution based on the competence approach, which promotes the development of knowledge and the acquisition of skills in the fields of STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) and STEAM (including art), as well as career choices in these fields. In the center, an exciting learning process will be achieved not only with interactive expositions, but also with classes and events that allow you to see and understand physics, chemistry, biology and other sciences as a whole.

In order for as many visitors as possible to be given the opportunity to try the exhibits of the Daugavpils Innovation Center, on the opening day, the visiting time of the exhibit hall will be limited to 2 hours per visit. Educational and creative workshops, scientific shows will be free of charge, but visiting the Innovation Center expositions will be possible by purchasing an entrance ticket at the center’s ticket office.

The activities are carried out under the European Economic Area and Norway Grants programme “Research and Education” activities “Innovation centers” project “Development of Innovation centre in Daugavpils City” and financed by Norway Grants.
