Is life possible on other planets? How do we find out?
During the camp, participants will create their own research probe and launch, data capture and processing will be carried out with the most powerful exploration missile in the Baltics. As we work, we will learn the basics of electronics, programming, data processing, and introduction to planetary astrophysics.
The camp is for young people who have completed grades 9-11 this school year.
Camp venue in Cesis, space cognition centre.
Representatives of the space Intelligence Centre and Andoya space Education (Norway) Cosmodrome will lead the camp and the working languages of the camp will be Latvian and English.
Participation in the camp is free.
The camp is funded under the “Innovation centres” activity of the Research and Education Programme of the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 Project No. NFI/IC/VIA/2020/3, “setting up an Innovation Centre in Cesis”.
