Seminar about 2nd Call of Scholarships for Latvian higher education institutions will be held

On March 2 from 10.00 to 12.00 (EET) State Education Development Agency is organizing an informative seminar about European Economic area (EEA) grants 2nd project Call of Scholarship activity online. Potential project implementers from higher education institutions from Latvia are welcome to join the seminar.

In the seminar information about the call, documents, project application and it’s submission in the system rsgrants.viaa.gov.lv will be presented.

Applicants can submit their project for the 2nd call of Scholarship activity from February 15 to April 19. Guidelines, documents and more information about the application process can be found on sections project contests and documents

The budget for this call is 335 986 euros of which 285 588,10 euros is co-financing of EEA grants and 50 397,90 euros are co-financed by Latvian state. A budget of between 10,000 euros and 200,000 euros will be allocated to the projects approved.

The call is organized by VIAA in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science and the Norwegian Directorate of Higher Education and Skills. The programme Research and Education is funded by the EEA/NO, while Scholarships are funded by European Economic Area (EEA) grants.
