On March 2nd State Education Development Agency (VIAA) informed potential project applicants about the European Economic Area Grants (EEA) 2nd call of Scholarhip activity. Around 50 Latvian higher education representatives applied for the seminar, but on March 2nd around 30 representatives gathered online.
The application for the 2nd call will take place from 15 February to 19 April. Applicants are invited to visit the information and documents published on the eeagrants.lv website, containing guidelines, documents and more general information on the application process.
The budget for this call is 335 986 euros. EEA co-financing reaches 285 588,10 euros and Latvian State co-financing – 50 397,90 euros. Approved projects will receive from 10 000 up to 200 000 euros.
The call is organised by VIAA in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science and the Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills. The “Scholarship” activity is funded by grants from the European Economic Area (EEA).
