On September 2, 2020, from 10.00 AM to 12.30 PM State Education Development Agency Republic of Latvia (VIAA) is organizing an informative webinar in Latvian for potential project application preparers about the third call of the Baltic Research Program in Latvia.

On August 26, VIAA in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia (IZM) organized an online Baltic Research Launching Event, which gathered more than 200 people from Latvia, Norway, Iceland, Estonia and Lithuania. Due to the wide interest and in order to proactively consult project applicants, VIAA will organize another webinar in Latvian. During the meeting, VIAA experts will inform in detail about the proposal conditions, documents, preparation of project applications and use of application platform www.rsgrants.viaa.gov.lv.

The third call in Latvia invites Latvian scientific institutions that meet the status of a research organization, in cooperation with project partners – research organizations in Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Estonia, Lithuania, as well as other countries to submit proposal applications by October 19, 2020. More information about the competition can be found here.

The Baltic Research Program is one of the activities of the EEA/N Financial Instrument Programme “Research and Education”, which strengthens Baltic research co-operation. The total funding of the program is 23.5 million. 7,541,272 euros have been allocated for the Latvian call.
