First opening anniversary of the Addiction Centre of Olaine prison

On October 5, 2017 first opening anniversary of the Addiction Centre of Olaine prison was celebrated.

Looking back through the year, the team of the Addiction Centre can be proud not only of successful opening of the Center, but also new challenges and determination of the future goals of Centre’s development.

Sanita Švesa, the Head of the Addiction Center of Olaine prison, looks proudly looks back at the achievements that has been accomplished and points out that the Centre will not stop at the results achieved, but will continue to promote its growth and development in future as well.

The anniversary was attended by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Latvia Dzintars Rasnačs, Director General of Latvian Prison Administration Ilona Spure, the management and staff of the Training Center, the Olaine Prison officials and employees.
