Entrepreneurs in Latgale will implement new business ideas

On January 19, 2022, the Latgale Planning Region as the grant scheme operator made a decision to support 10 projects in the EEA grant call “Support for the implementation of business ideas in Latgale”, granting EEA co-financing of 92,274.99 euros.

The support will create at least ten new jobs and diversify the range of goods, create new and improve existing services in tourism, information technology, catering, woodworking, healthcare, etc. sectors.

Latgale entrepreneurs have the opportunity to implement a new business idea and receive support for the creation of new products or services, or for the improvement of existing products, a significant increase of production capacity or significant change of production processes, as well as improving the efficiency of existing services. with a co-financing intensity of 55%.

In order to use the remaining funding of the call as efficiently as possible, the Latgale Planning Region in cooperation with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development is currently developing a proposal for the possible future call. Follow the news!
