Equivalent evaluation in Baltic research program will be sequentially determined by quality and co-operation

On 15 October 2020 the State Education Development Agency (VIAA) explains that the Baltic research program, according to the Program Agreement Annex 1 4.2., in the case of equivalent evaluation awarded to the same project application, projects will be ranked in order of priority according to three criteria, including “Quality and efficiency of project implementation and management, the added value of international cooperation”, which includes planned partnerships with both Estonian and Lithuanian research organizations.

If the projects will have the same total number of points in quality criteria “Quality and efficiency of project implementation and management”, then the program committee, when making a decision, will pay special attention to the priority of the project application with partners from both Baltic countries – Lithuania and Estonia.
